Owned and managed by the sisters and brother team of Rose, Bing and JM Tanalgo, Bacolod Chicken Inasal opened its first take out and delivery counter in 1993. It was a small take out spot at EDSA Central Complex in Mandaluyong City with delivery services to the Ortigas and Mandaluyong areas. The Tanalgo siblings opted to start out with a small stall to first have a feel of the market in Manila.
It was not long before they were able to prove that Bacolod Chicken Inasal is more than just a hometown hit. Manilans love it too! What is considered a part of the Bacolodnons way of life likewise fitted into the lifestyle of Manilaís professionals and families. Furthermore, it was the answer to the prayers of individuals who demanded quality and delicious meals at reasonable prices.
Bacolod Chicken Inasal started with a small take out and delivery counter in July of 1993. By November of 1994, Bacolod Chicken Inasal opened its first sit down restaurant at the corner spot of EDSA Central. The new setup allowed dine-in customers to enjoy the house favorite grilled chicken barbecue and other Bacolod dishes in a relaxed, cozy and friendly atmosphere, a perfect setting for the graciousness and hospitality of its predominantly Visayan staff.
The new sit-down dining concept was a tremendous success! This made the Tanalgo siblings determined to further promote the growth of their business and to bring Bacolodís culinary best to the different parts of Metro Manila.
